What You Need to Know About Polyester Conveyor Belts

What is a Polyester Conveyor Belt?

A polyester conveyor belt, also known as a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) conveyor belt, is a strong and lightweight material that is resistant to wear and tear. It's made from woven thermoplastic fibers reinforced with steel cords, making it perfect for high-temperature processes such as baking, drying, curing and more. Polyester conveyor belts are ideal for conveying materials over long distances in heavy-duty applications, making them a great option for industrial operations.

Polyester conveyor belt has the characteristics of acid resistance, alkali resistance, wear resistance, high temperature resistance, long service life, flat mesh surface, high tensile strength, good breathable performance, high heat transfer efficiency, energy saving for users, easy installation and use.

Widely used in nonwoven fabric, papermaking, sewage treatment, sugar, pharmaceutical, ceramics, food, printing, coal washing and other industries. According to its use, it can be divided into polyester molding net, polyester dry net, polyester screw net, pressure filter, sludge dewatering net, slurry washing net, weaving net, polyethylene net, decorative net.

The difference between SK604 and K4106A is: 1. The air permeability is difference. The air permeability of SK604 is about 10500, and the air permeability of SK604 is about 11500. 2.The peeling performance and adhesion performance of the SK604 is better than K4106A. 3. The antistatic property of SK604 is better than K4106A. 4. The monofilament is different. SK604 weaved with hydrolysis-resistant and antistatic filaments all from German PERLON. And K4106 just using the antistatic filaments from German PERLON, the rest from Chinese brand.
