How to joint Teflon belt?

There are variety of interfaces for Teflon mesh belt, such as bull nose joint, wall joint, steel buckle joint, up lower seal fabric lap. Among them, the bull nose joint and steel buckle joint are the most widely used.

95% customers use the bull nose joint because the joint method is simple, easy to operate, easy to maintain and disassemble. Simply open the head connector and insert the latch to quickly complete the installation.

But the tensile strength of bull nose joint can only reach about 60% of the strength of Teflon mesh belt, so it is not suitable for the transportation of some heavy materials.

The steel buckle joint is made of stainless steel. If it is used for Teflon mesh belt and Teflon high-temperature cloth conveyor belt, it needs to be used with Kevlar. Note: Since steel buckle joints need manual operation, the production cost is very high. Generally, we suggest customers using bull nose joints. Of course, customers could choose the appropriate joint method according to their actual requirements.
